Education:
Dr. Akins completed her undergraduate training at Lehigh University, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and received her medical degree from Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She completed her residency at the Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Her special areas of expertise include Obstetrics, Gynecology, Laparoscopic Surgery, and Menopause.

Licensure and Board Certification:
Dr. Akins is a Fellow in the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Academic & Administrative Appointments:
Dr. Akins practices at Chester County OB/GYN Associates and has offices in West Chester and Kennett Square.
