William Robert Atkins, M.D., FACOG

Education:
Dr. Atkins completed his undergraduate training at Boston College Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts and received his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed his residency at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His special areas of expertise include PMS, pelvic pain, Vaginal Surgery, and Urogynecology.

Licensure and Board Certification:
Dr. Atkins is a Fellow in the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Academic & Administrative Appointments:
Dr. Atkins is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Pennsylvania.

Awards & Honors:
In addition to being a three time recipient of the United States Army Commendation Medal, Dr. Atkins has also been honored with the Residents Teaching Award from Pennsylvania Hospital.
